We know you’ve been patient, and we’re pleased to FINALLY bring you third WAR ROCK OLYMPICS!

A big thank you to all War Rock players! Help us celebrate the 2nd Anniversary by entering in the War Rock Olympics! Prizes will range from Ultimate Wallet points generously given by Playspan, and Dinar, premiums and weapon leases from the War Rock team!

We've brought back some of our classic events like The Gauntlet, TAG and we've thrown in some new ones as well hosted by your favorite staff: Napalm, Silent, Pixel, Hyperion and Nemico.

Rules and Prizes

Prizes will be given out for First and Second and Third place in all the events unless otherwise specified. Prizes will include Dinar, Weapons, premium days and a few top secret prizes!

The majority of games will be held in Close Quarters Combat FFA mode. Several other games will require larger maps and vehicles, all rules for each game will be specified below.

Signups

Signups are simple – first come, first served. The game, room # and password will be announced on each server before the event begins.

Friday 2/06/09

Games Played: Excited Bike Challenge, TAG

Event: Excited Bike Challenge
Map: Odyssey
Structure: Urban Ops, Deathmatch – 8 players
Description: 8 man Motor Bike race around the track circling the map. The first 2 to cross the finish line will duke it out with fists inside the fighting ring.

Event: TAG
Map: Karaqum
Structure: Close Quarters Combat, Free-For-All – 16 Players
Description: Only the player designated as “it” is allowed to use guns. All other players can use slot 1 only. The only way to become “it” is to kill the player that is currently “it” with your fists. A GM will start as “it”, don’t let him win!

Saturday 2/07/09

Games Played: Protect the GM, Capture The Nemico

Event: Protect the GM
Map: Cloud Forest
Structure: Urban Ops, Team Death match – 24 Players
Description: The GM is the target for both teams. The GM’s team is charged with protecting him at all costs and by any means necessary. If the attacking team successfully kills the GM 5 times, the game is over. If the defending team manages to protect the GM successfully, preventing 5 deaths, they will be declared the winner.

Event: Capture The Nemico
Map: Bandar
Structure: Battle Group, Deathmatch – 32 Players
Description: One team will be defending the flag on the tanker “Nemico” the other team will capture all the other flags and then will fight to get on the tanker and capture the last remaining flag.


Sunday 2/08/09

Games Played: Destruction Derby, The Gauntlet

Event: Destruction Derby
Map: Odyssey
Structure: Urban Ops, Deathmatch – 8 Players
Description: Each team has two Humvees. The team who destroys the others team’s Hummvees by ramming first, wins. NO WEAPONS ARE ALLOWED.

Event: The Gauntlet
Map: Marien
Structure: Close Quarters Combat, Free-For-All – 16 Players
Description: In a game of 16 people everyone takes turns being a sniper and picking off the other players as they run through the streets of Marien. No other weapons or method of killing is allowed. The sniper with the highest number of kills wins.

Monday 2/09/09

Games Played: Sink The Hamina, I-Jump

Event: Sink the Hamina
Map: Disturm
Structure: Battle Group, Deathmatch – 32 Players
Description: 4 players on one team will occupy the Hamina, and attempt to defend it from the other team. Defending team wins if they keep the Hamina from being destroyed all game (200 kills). Assaulting team wins if they destroy the Hamina.

Event: I-Jump
Map: Bandar
Structure: Battle Group, Deathmatch – 32 Players
Description: Players will be jump off the highest point of the yellow Crane, players who successfully hit the small boat parked below the crane on the sea will win rewards. Each player will have 1 chance.

Medal Winners

Six total players will receive the Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals (two gold medals, two silver medals, two bronze). One Gold, Silver, and Bronze medal will go to the European players and one of each will go to the US players. They will be chosen by participation and performance in the events, conduct in games, and helpfulness to other players.

The rewards for each medal are:

Gold: $50 Ultimate Wallet Points and 100K Dinar
Silver: $25 Ultimate Wallet Points and 75k Dinar
Bronze: $15 Ultimate Wallet Points and 50K Dinar

Server/Time Information

As of now, The Olympics will begin on the following Servers and times and will run until all the games are completed:

Through Friday Feb 6th – Monday, Feb 9th

Turkey: 11am PST – 12:30 PM

Germany: 12pm PST – 1:30 PM

UK: 1pm PST – 2:30 PM

US East: 4pm PST – 5:30 PM

US West: 6pm PST – 7:30 PM

The times are subject to change without notice. Some games may run longer than planned. Format changes may or may not be broadcasted in game.

War Rock 2nd Anniversary Giveaway!

Also on February 6th, we are giving away items to anyone who logs into War Rock anytime during the day. Log in and automatically win a free 3 day FAMAS and SUPER MASTER items!

February 6th is the day! Join us to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of War Rock! For event details click here.

Players who login after the 6th will recieve the item for the amount of days left until the 9th. Example: A player who logs in on the 6th will receive both items for 3 days. A player who logs in on the 7th will only receive both items for 2 days.

Note de mise a jour :

-L'event Warrock 2eme anniversaire et les Olympiades commencent aujourd'hui (6 fèvrier 2009). Les joueurs qui se loggueront aujourd'hui recevront automatiquement les 3 jours de FAMAS et Supermaster sur leurs comptes.

-Les missiles stinger refont des dégâts a l'infanterie, aussi bien directement, qu'en touchant le sol a côté.

-La stamina ré-affiche le bon message in-game lorsqu'ils sont utilisés.

-Célébration de St Valentin : les "Lovu Lovu Medic Box" (les medic box avec un cœur dessus) ont été offertes a tous les joueurs. Soignez vos coéquipier par le pouvoir de l'amour !

-Des bannières In Game ont été mise en place pour diffuser des infos sur ce prochain event.

-Divers bugs ont été corrigés.

Donc, en gros, on a droit a FAMAS + SUPERMASTER a 13h30 las bas +6h = 18h30/19h ce soir pour nous, pendant trois jours.

Pour les items St Valentin, apparemment, les medic auront des armes roses, et des medic box avec un petit coeur dessus, et ce pour ceux qui se connecteront et jouerons entre le 13 et le 15 fèvrier, attention la encore au décalage horaire, je n'ai pas vu d'heure précise encore pour ça.

ben honnêtement - j'ai traîne sur le IRc avec les mod du forum officiel et il ya des problèmes - forum - G1 tout a l'air de pas marcher

Selon des joueurs il y ont a qui ont déjà reçu leur famas - d'autre non - d'autre on eu la medic box ... chaos totale on dirait
